Gathering Spaces at Communitas
The Great Room
The Great Room is our primary gathering space at Communitas. Warm, spacious, and uncluttered, it is designed for groups to settle in, spread out, and move through a shared experience with steadiness and privacy. With room for up to 20 participants and their facilitator(s), The Great Room supports both psilocybin group journeys and non-psilocybin retreats, offering an environment that is calm, comfortable, and conducive to focused inner and interpersonal work. Two large bathrooms nearby add comfort and ease throughout the day.
The Gallery
Just outside The Great Room, The Gallery offers a quieter zone for one-to-one connection and small pauses. Along the hallway are a handful of comfortable nooks that naturally support private check-ins, grounding moments, and gentle conversation away from the group field. It is a simple feature of the space, but often becomes an important one.
The Hearth
The Hearth is the home base for simple nourishment and informal connection. This kitchen-centered space offers generous counter room, warm lighting, and an easy flow for preparing food, tea, and shared meals. It is an ideal complement to retreat work, supporting the basics that help groups stay grounded in their experience.
