A community-centered space for transformational group experiences
Communitas:
a profound, often unexpected experience of collective joy and intense fellowship, arising when individuals momentarily shed social structures, hierarchies, and concerns of status.
About Communitas
Communitas is a woman-owned, community-based psilocybin service center grounded in collaboration, care, and ethical group practice. The structure and systems of Communitas are directly informed by our close collaboration with Canopy Collective, an experienced facilitation team whose work has shaped how we design, hold, and support group experiences.
Communitas exists to make well-held group work possible. We offer one of the largest group journey spaces in Oregon and make the center available for rental by facilitators, organizations, and collaborative teams who are seeking a thoughtful, compliant, and supportive environment to bring their group visions to life. We manage the space, logistics, and regulatory requirements to create a steady, well-supported setting so participants can devote their attention to the work and to one another.
At the heart of our approach is the understanding that transformation is both individual and relational. Many of the most meaningful shifts happen in the in-between spaces, so we create ample contemplative room for inner and interpersonal work, supported by an environment that encourages creativity and ease.
Communitas is rooted in the values of integrity, accessibility, collaboration, and community impact. We welcome facilitators and groups who are dreaming into new ways of working together and want a center that can hold those dreams with care, competence, and respect.
Contact Us
We welcome inquiries from individuals and groups interested in psilocybin experiences, as well as licensed facilitators seeking a collaborative, contemplative space to host their work. Communitas also offers a beautiful setting for non-psilocybin contemplative gatherings, retreats, and small organizational offsites.
